Simply put, Ward has cleaned out all the credible options available to him. If he has to dig deeper into the barrel and pick pavlik as an opponent, we have to accept it as he really has no choice. Ward has become too good for his own good.

Wow Andre ward a cherry picker ? The guys last 6 fights have been against top ten opponents - tied into the super 6 tourney and fight Dawson as his first fight out side the tourney. What the **** else do people really want from this guy? The only knock is his home court but people are not complaining about bute or Abraham or strum etc... as far as the Darrel brothers, Anthony got injured and Andre Dirrel wants no part of him, Andre Dirrel is a joke to me for now, until he gets it back on track

i think he'd blow him out the water, Kelly Pavlik is shot. Bhop took his soul.

And Ward did not clean out 168,he has to beat at least Andre Dirrel to clean out 168,the belt Dirrel won from Froch was suppose to be Dirrels belt but he got robbed in the Froch fight.

And Dirrel is contemplating moving to 175 but he yet he wouldn`t fight Dawson at 175?Dawson might be ruined cause he came down to 168 and drained himself and took a bad beating. If Dawson is not shot Ward is gonna pick a easy belt holder at 175 and a lot of you gonna be slobbing his knob after he wins a belt from a bum at lightheavy.

Let me brace myself for the excuses from the Ward groupies.
This along with your other post are, well, pretty ridiculous to say the least.

He's more deserving than Kelly Pavlik. Styles make fights and I'd still be interested in Bute-Ward.

Ward will not be able throw enough money Pavliks way to make pavlik take the fight. It is a fight Pavlik himself knows he will lose. Pavlik is better off waiting for Froch, Kessler or Abraham to call his name. He will make just as much if not more money, and would actually have a shot at winning.

Like I said. Ward is too good for his own good. It is going to be very hard for him to even find a credible opponent. If he does find one, it will be very hard for him to get them to sign the dotted line, especially when there are easier options offering opponents more money. Ward needs a big promoter who would try to build him into a PPV star. If he becomes a PPV star, he will then have more financial leverage.

I don't think Pavlik's shot but either way Ward ***s him up easy.

Not a bad fight. Ward has nothing to prove at 168. Dirrell sucks and got his ass beat by Froch.
