Martinez trainer says no ward fight, moving to 154

Martinez has earned his dues. His fought the tough fights with little recognition. He rules the mw division and deservedly so. I'd love a fight with Geale more so than Golovkin, unless Golovkin can beat Geale. Either way, great fights but Martinez doesn't want the B crowd anymore, his done with them. He is only one of a handful of fighters over the last decade that I would say are truly great.

Mayweather and Cotto don't want a piece of Maravilla.

And Sergio dont want a piece of Ward who is some what close to a 168 version of Floyd .

Its the weight difference that is guiding these guys , Sergio wants Cotto Floyd because he is bigger , the same reason Sergio dont want Ward .

Weight is taken for granted by the fans but its very instrumental to what goes down in the ring .

Because Pac won a JMW title while Martinez never fought above 160. That's the logic people use.

He hasn't been offered a Martinez fight yet. Cotto is a willing fighter who has in his career taken on all-comers, he will fight Martinez if he is made a competitive offer, he won't duck.

Cotto turned Martinez down before, saying he doesn't bring any money to the table. Cotto didn't specifically look for tough fights, he just fought whoever Arum put in front of him.
