But they would be ducking him. Martinez at 154 would be the best available opponent for either Floyd or Cotto. They should fight him.

Can someone tell me why it is ok for Martinez to duck 168 by saying guys are too big and too good, while Manny says the same thing about JMW and he gets **** on for it? Ive been on this site long enough to know what happens if he moves down and gets KTFO by Cotto, Canelo or Floyd. Because imo at 154 all 3 are the likely result if hes not healthy.

Canelo = More money, less risk, smaller fighter.

Top Rank's whole fallout with HBO last year was over them trying to force Cotto-Martinez. No one on Cotto's side wants it, and that's fine. Cotto is at a point in his career where he should pick and choose.
