Pernell Whitaker was coming out of rehab for ******* and a year and a half layoff and still went 12 rounds with Felix Trinidad who was one of the most powerful punchers at 147.

Some fighters are just too fundamentally sound and have too high of a ring IQ to get knocked out and Floyd is one of them.

maybe back in the day. But Hopkins would have never taken the kind of damage against a guy like Cotto that Floyd did, not at any point in his career.

WTF does pride have to do with being ktfo.

Lets be honest, if Shane would of got out of the way instead of hugging Floyd after he landed those two right hands, Floyd would of been DROPPED.

Their defenses are different. When a fighter comes in on Bernard he either circles away or grabs him. When a fighter comes in on Floyd he goes into his shell, basically ******** that his reflexes and rolling is better than the opponents combination accuracy. Floyd can be hit in his shell, hell we saw what Cotto can do when Floyd is rolling.. he wasn't teeing off but he WAS hitting Floyd.

And we saw Floyds anticipation/reflexes slown down a bit when Mosley landed two straight bombs on Floyd.

Then we saw it again when Floyd and Cotto we're standing in the middle of the ring and Cotto landed 3-4 jabs... IN A ROW, right on Floyd.. Floyd didn't move, slip, counter, roll... no he took them to the face and got a bloody nose.

He's 36 years old in 3 months, **** will change.

It only takes ONE shot, ONE slip up, ONE mistake.. and Floyds made them before.

IF Mosley would of moved after he landed that shot, Floyd would of hit the canvas.. that much is certain.

I think Floyd has a good chin, though.

No, Shane threw those two shots almost like Hopkins does... He threw them and then attempted to smother Floyd right after so Floyd couldn't counter... it actually worked in Floyds favor because Shane was there for Floyd to grab onto.

                  It's actually reverse.

Holyfield is basically bankrupt.. Tyson is broke, he's actually not broke now, but compared to what he had he's broke.

Tyson is working, Holyfield isn't doing much of anything but being taken to court.
