Did I miss something? Did Froch come close to knocking out Ward in their 12 Round Match? How would 3 More Rounds Help? I don't even remember Froch landing anything that even HURT Ward to be honest

Ward was definitely on the verge of being exhausted at the end of the 12th. He was worse off stamina wise than Froch. As we saw with Sergio, you don't have to be hurt to end up on the canvas.

Ward looked like he was just cruising the past few rounds.

The only reason Froch won any rounds anyways was because of Wards broken hand, he hurt it a week or two before the fight, it was hurting him so bad that he could barely hit the mitts.

If Ward goes into that fight fully healthy it's a complete shut out aside of maybe round 1 in which both fighters usually feel each other out.

          He did look very tired.

          That concerned me.

He has a punchers chance, just as he did the first 12 rounds.

15 rounders rule - some guy with a bucket load of dosh should create a new belt that can only be won in 15 rounders and **** all the other ones.

Well the fight was scheduled for 12 Rounds, he was doing all the work and landing more punches, I would hope he would get tired...he is still human...yeah maybe he gets KO'd if after the 12th Round the Ref would say "This Fight Is Now A 15 Round Fight"...but with both boxers coming in prepared for 15 Rounds...It would still be the same results

I don't know about all that, but I would love to have 15 round fights back. Separate the men from the boys, plus more KO's.

Doesn't matter if it was a 15 round fight in Nottingham on Devil's night with the ring surrounded by Richard Dawkins, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Christopher Hitchens zombie corpse, Ward would still beat that ass
