Did he die or something? No. You're wishing for his demise but the fact is, he's on HBO and will continue to get exposure going forward. Whether that brings fans is anyone's guess--neither of us know. But he had done good enough prior to earn that contract. And please don't hit me with "like I told you" like you have some sort of keen knowledge. The last thing I remember you saying was how Ward-Bute was the best fight in boxing outside of Mayweather-Pacquiao.

He's on HBO? What does that even mean? You're just saying things that don't mean anything which is par for the course with you I suppose. He was on HBO before. I mean, what progress has he made? I cant even remember the name of the guy he's supposed to fight next which isn't the best sign. He was getting higher profile fights with Gary Shaw...

Ward-Bute would've been one of the biggest fights in boxing outside of Pac-Mayweather. Nothing wrong with that statement, its a shame Ward didn't accept the fight. Plenty big fights fall out of bed.

Actually, he wasn't on HBO before. So you don't know what you're talking about. And HBO is the #1 cable network in the US. So before you prematurely celebrate his "fading away", I'd wait more than three months after his last fight. Perhaps after a couple fights on HBO you can properly assess his standing.

It's not a shame Ward didn't accept the fight. Only if you thought Bute was legit.

Could've sworn the "Mega Fight" with Alexander was on HBO. I remember how well that went

I thought Bute was the number 2 SMW in the world at the time. And I wanted him to fight the number 1. Weird, I know.

Having a fight on HBO and being contracted to HBO are two different things.

And you thought Bute was #2 at SMW. So did some others. I wasn't one of them--had Froch up ahead and deservedly so. Someone thought that was weird. I know.

Bradley-Alexander helped land him a huge payday against Pacquiao. And he'll keep getting paydays on HBO. It sucks, I know.

                  LOL....King Pedantic strikes again.

I dont even think I said he was "contracted". But HBO certainly put a lot of stock into the "Megafight" and got their fingers burnt.

You didn't, I did. And how did HBO get their fingers burned? They parlayed that exposure and signed on to a Bradley-Pacquiao PPV that generated $42 million, those poor saps. And no one thought Alexander-Bradley was a megafight. Maybe the idiots that don't know better.
