How did HBO get burned by Bradley's fight "mega fight"

"Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports reports that the announced attendance is 6,247. Michael Buffer is on hand to do his world famous ring introductions. Both men look ready, and we are all set for a scheduled 12 rounds of boxing for the WBC and WBO light welterweight titles."

A huge crowd of over 6 thousand came to see the next star of Arum's stable. Yep bet the brass at HBO were pleased to dumb money into that fight.

I guess you never said never (tip of the hat to your boy Bieber there) but it was clearly implied by you that Bradley was not on HBO prior to the Manny fight.

At least Manny has gotten the benefit of the doubt against JMM, he didnt get it against Bradley, he should want to correct that.

He chased the money.. For an up and comer I dont blame chasing the money... For guys who are multi multi multi millionaires... **** the extra money on top, prove you ARE better.
Weren't all you fellows moaning buckets of tears over the "fact" that Pacquiao was almost penniless and was being swindled badly by Arum....??? Wgat happened to all that fake anguish?

The amount of scholarly mathematics which was poured out in floods really impressed me......

So nothing's really changed. I'll also remind you that he doesn't have to be the heir apparent or darling of boxing (what idiot thought he would ever be that?). He just needs to win and he'll keep getting exposure and big paydays.
I suppose to some folks, beating either of the 2 most well known boxers its a struggle to comprehend they might actually enjoy an acceleration of their public profile.

"Beating Tiger Woods doesn't make you Tiger Woods."

I'd give it some time before assuming, anyway. I'm not a fan of premature ejaculation.

Back on topic, Bradley is irrelevant he couldn't sell out his own living room.
Please excuse this-one-time only-butting in. You've made more than a few comments which are not true. Commissions appoint judges, promoters DON'T. Promoters pay their fees because the promoter pays for EVERYTHING, including the plastic spoon you stir your coffee with, and the paper napkin you use to wipe away your dribbles.

It's a contracted part of his obligations.

Who said it would? but it would hopefully get you noticed by a wider audience
