Come on... that fight was nOT about avoiding .. both alltime greats couldn't miss that night.. it was abourt going mano to mano... toe to toe for bragging rights.. Vitali didn't have a chance to implement any of his great technique & this was because the SIZE & sKILL occupying the ring that night for both contestants.

Oh for god sake, not another forking Lennox - Vitali debate. Yes Vitali was up 4-2 at the point of stoppage, but in the rules of boxing it states that if you cause sufficient facial damage big enough for me to slap my 11'' penis in then the fight must be stopped immidiately.

Had Vitali gone on his head would have probably fallen off, there is absolutely NO WAY Vitali could have carried on that fight, It would have ruined his career.

Lewis fought Vitali's fight. Vitali was the younger, fitter, harder puncher with a great chin, Lewis was expected to use his boxing skills. He went in there took the best Vitali could offer and tore his face apart. Vitali lost at his own game.

Imagine Joe Louis in front of this statue??? Even heavies like Max Baer would walk through his punches and pound this guy!!! He's a "stiff" bodied, sticks his chin out goober!! Foreman would be arrested right after the KO for cruelity to impostures!!
