No, that's not what I said.

What I said was; "I haven't seen the fight, but I knew it would only be a matter of time before he looked less impressive. Or atleast not as dominant"

I.e, Going off the assumption he didn't utterly dominate his opponent this weekend, I saw and imagined this coming because so far his competition has been very very weak.

I haven't mentioned anything about the fact he didn't stop his opponent nor have I mentioned anything about Donaire.

But to answer your question I wasn't impressed with Donaire's last performance at all but again I'm not sure what has to do with my post.

The basis of my post is; I'm not going to to judge Rigondeaux yet until he fights better fighters. And I'm not going to be surprised when he isn't as dominant when he ups his level of opposition.

If we consider Rigo "exposed" now...then what the hell do we call Donaire almost fighting to a draw with bum ass Mathebula?

another person who incorrectly uses the term exposed. He got rocked. Twice in a 12 round fight. Didn't go down but got stunned. Other than that he won just about every second of the fight and scored two nasty knockdowns himself.

Whether or not Rigo has a weak chin, we still don't really know. I say he has a suspect chin. Because getting rocked is far different than say getting Amir Khan'd and GTFO in under 60 seconds, so let's not go crazy here. Gamboa was dropped numerous times early in his career and he's a beast. Trinidad was dropped 7 times and hurt several times and look how he turned out. So let's not overreact here.

Time will tell how his chin will hold up but I can go on and on with guys who got rocked in otherwise perfect fights. Andre Ward, Andre Dirrell, etc etc etc.

Rigo is a damn good fighter, but he's too much of a counter puncher and his jab is used simply to lure his opponents in, this is why at this point I'm leaning towards Donaire landing the counter left hook more than once and Moreno outboxing him, pure counter punchers struggle with boxers.

He literally dominated every second of the fight, including when he was rocked, which is what is scary. He got clipped, wobbled, grabbed on for a second, then went right back to dominating.

I was thinking about this very same thing this afternoon when I watched the fight. I was going to bring this subject up and you guys beat me to it. I have a real problem with that pawing jab. I agree that Rigo needs to start using it as a weapon, not a range-finder. It's a damn leftover from his amateur days. We're not fighting for points anymore. That little habit might even get him dusted against the top guys.
