So, what have we concluded here? No KO = ****ty performance. No wonder these boxers get robbed so hardcore nowadays.

Im being harsh on Rigo and said he performed ****ty but not cause he didn't get a KO or because he was wobbled.
Where do you get any of this from my post?

I think we all saw this coming years ago. Rigondeaux is supremely disciplined in sticking to his game plan. But even the greatest defenders step on the gas after being hurt. He really did not want to let his hands go. Even his trainer told him to continue keeping distance after he was rocked.

I wouldn't say that he was exposed, every fighter goes through tough situations. I think he needs to let his hands go in combination instead of just looking for one punch. He's like the complete opposite of Gamboa, even though he posses the same talent.

People are acting like Rigo was chicken dancing the entire fight by getting hit with jabs thrown by Paulie Malignaggi.

He won 10 rounds, and dropped Marroquin twice, including once in the 12th round.

        He did fine.
        I'll try and catch it.

I like Rigondeaux and I think he's a good fighter but like I said, I'm not going to judge him until I see him at a higher level.

At this point, his level of opposition is almost as low as it gets.

Hopefully people can calm down and stop pretending Rigo destroys the division now. Yes, he's more than capable of beating anyone in the division, but he isn't going to obliterate them the way some people have said.

In fairness to Rigondeaux he had a lot of distractions with contracts & such, Marroquinn was a super amateur with I believe over 300 wins and holds wins over Gary Russel Jr & Adrien Broner. He is also huge at the weight and can crack.

I think we all underestimated Marroquinn slightly though he didn't really do much but land two decent shots which has been totally blown out of proportion. Sure they woke Rigondeaux up a little bit but he wasn't badly hurt or in any major trouble.
Its a boxing match he fought a guy with maybe 3-4" on him in height & reach and a 12lb weight advantage come fight night (a lot for the lower weights) he got clipped a couple of times, its no big deal.

According to you Rigo was NOT dominant and looked less and less impressive. So what does that say about Donaire's recent performances...?

Hey now, amateurs don't count and Marroquin is not even ranked top 10 in the division. Therefore Marroquin is a nobody, a bum.

I guess, instead of being so harsh on Rigo I could say he did better than the Cordoba fight and did a little better.

Rigo got overconfident cause he was winning the fight to easily. Marroquin was too passive and Rigo had to engage sometimes, which is completely against his regular style, so he was caught a couple of times.

He hasn't been exposed, he still gave a good performance by easily beating Marroquin.

Saying that he's been exposed is like saying that Martínez was exposed against Jr because he got knocked down. He wasn't exposed, he also got way too confident and paid the price, but that doesn't mean that he didn't give a magnificent performance.
