When Martinez came out all guns blazing, I was wondering why his coach wasn't telling him to slow down. It almost cost him at the end.

Wow this poster must have 47 chromosomes. Stop saying "mang" you illiterate moron, do you think you are Tony Montana. Chavez got his ass beat and was scared to throw until the last round where he landed some good shots on a coasting and tired martinez. It caught him off guard cause Jr did nothing for so long.Lets not be dumb here mang, if you get in the ring and fight for ten rounds you are gonna suffer,
say mang is this yer first fight ?
Who suffered MORE, who? who in the interview suffered more
maybe in humiliation cause he nearly got KO'd bad, real baddddddddd
Suffering to the point where he GAVE CHAVEZ RESPECT , something you won't do mang
Martinez never hated JR, some of you are blind to reality. Martinez wanted to grow his name, it wasn't working for him being that humble guy it was boring. So when he knew he was getting a 24/7 he turned up the trash talk. He just didnt respect that Jr had the belt when he didnt deserve itComment

You're overrating his power. Remember that a ****er like Chavez has to set his feet to get proper leverage on his shots, or else he won't throw with conviction. Chavez wasn't able to stop Zbik/Rubio and a bunch of others, Lee was just a red herring. Sergio got caught in an exchange, but he got hurt because he was exhausted and squared up. Jr. caught him when he was at his most vulnerable. He landed on Sergio numerous times in other rounds, but Sergio absorbed them and kept it moving, that was the only time in the fight where he visibly stunned him. Even after he gets hit with the left hook, he still has the presence of mind to clinch.Awesome performance on Sergio's part. But I will say, considering Chavez's power, I was NOT happy with Sergio being to willingly to get caught up in exchanges with him, you just can't sleep on a guy with as much power as Chavez. That was a SCARY 12th round, I was afraid that Sergio was gonna go out. I was thinking that he MIGHT get dropped sooner or later because he also got dropped against Pavlik and Williams, but those seemed more like flash knockdowns, he looked legitimately hurt and I was worried that he mighta been out on his feet. Regardless, it was an awesome performance on his part, and I'm sure if they have a rematch that JCC Jr. is gonna try to get a faster start.
