Junior should move up I believe he would make a good sparring partner for the elite fighters at 168.

I like how Chavez was dropping his hands like Martinez at times while being schooled. They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery.

get out yer tear vase mang, catch yer tears and offer them to Sergio as a gift.

They came in the same weight at the weigh in, he could have come in heavy if he desired as Chavez did,

Dont moan and cry about things like this

get yore mang May jr to sign up to fight Sergio , and watch his mind leave the stadium

Loved how he'd get caught every time he did that too. Owned!

I think people gotta put pride aside & be realistic. Both fighters won here tonight. I'm the biggest SM supporter. I called jr getting battered if his corner didn't stop it. Although that was the case. His myth/legend/family name only increased tonight. & it was all do to that lil blip in the 12th rd. The crowd ROARED when it happened. & it made the people proud despite being outclassed & beat up. & Serg was just flat out masterful. Never gave Jr ANYTHING in the fight. He almost got bored from hitting him so easily. I can't believe he could move his feet so well all night. He beat him in every facet. In-fighting...from distance...angles...body attack...head attack. right hook...jab...str left. He was even walking that giant kid down....controlling the ring. It was crazy. Then how bout getting caught & refusing to tie him up...he just slugged it ou to the end. How this dude isn't a superstar is beyond me. I didn't like jr b4. But I became a supporter of this kid. I like his attitude & toughness. Salute to both dudes. REally this fight could be looked at as a promotion for an even bigger one. Not bc it's necessary...but bc "It Gets The People GOING!

Some of these fans are crazy. Rematch??? WTF for?? Jr got dominated. He is lazy. Back to the drawing board, 168, and take yer job seriously for once. World class fighters can figure that bogus **** out, as you just saw.

Sergio Martinez showed junior how to box with god tonight! sensational performance by Maravilla. he showed 110 percent in every round till the final bell. p4p #1 in my eyes.

Much respect to junior for putting up a great effort. he'll bounce back.
