Yeah these guys don't know anything about boxing.
The reality is that Martinez dominated Jr for 11 rounds, got confident and got caught in the end.
Jr gave one good round taking advantage of Sergio's ****iness and that's it.Comment

That's not a lucky punch obviously, Martinez puffed on the last 3 rounds. Chavez just doesnt have the skills. On the other hand, Canelo beat an unknown boy tonight, beating a guy whose name is Victor Ortiz doesn't make a contender for Canelo LMAOComment

Rematch at Cowboys Stadium according to Bob. My guess would be 5 de Mayo. Lets go Jr. Time to finish what your started in the 12th round.
My prediction for the rematch: Chavez by annihilation!!!Comment

Ya, all the people thinking JR should have just started early and throwing power punches don't understand boxing. Martinez wanted JR to throw more early on because countering is his greatest strength.Round 12 was the perfect way to end the fight... Chaves was getting pot shotted all night. It was as bad a schooling as i thought it was going to be. A a part of me just became a fan of chaves after the 12th rd. If only he actually fought, he may have gotten lucky, but most likely would have gotten picked off with a counter and KOd himself. But Sergio is the ****, thats P4P status right there, Chaves was HUUUUUUGE compared to Sergio.
Martinez showed what a boss he is tonight. He dominated a guy 25 lbs heavier than him for 11 rounds, and handled JR's onslaught in the last round while fighting back and never running.
If JR threw more early he would have been stopped.Comment
