Sergio also wasn't holding on for dear life in that round. Never held once. Indeed, at the end of the round he looked fresher that junior. Junior had every opportunity to get the ko there and quit punching because he also got gassed. Martinez made every mistake in the world there and chavez failed to follow up.

Why is no one giving Martinez credit? He showed a lot more heart than Jr. He didn't have to trade,he didn't have to fight face to face in the last round.He wanted to fight and not coast to a win.He already won the fight,but still decided to give the fans a fight in the last round.He didn't hold when he was hurt,he fought back when he didn't have too.He is a true champion.
