Martinez won clearly but i hate his style of boxing i hate it how volume punchers steal rounds with shots that don't connect and the way Martinez was running the last 4 rounds made me feel sick running but putting some swagger on it to make it look tough like hes not gassed throwing his slappy shots that were hitting Chavez gloves majority of the time the odd one getting through. Massive respect for Chavez though hes got heart and he still has a big future.

I thought it was a pretty good fight,i thought if JCC pressed the issue like he attempted in the twelfth rd starting around the third he may have pulled off an Victory.Either way i tip my hat to him for fighting a worthy vet that he knew ran the chance of giving him an upset. JCC is still young, he has quite a bit of time to sharpen things up and get more ring intelligence on his side.Once he makes up his mind to be more consistent in his camp he'll see the hard work pay off.

Piss poor performance by Chavez. Just awful. Dude has nothing but a heart, chin, size and wonderful drugs. I don't need to see this fight again. Will be a carbon copy except Sergio won't engage late next time.

JCC wins the rematch, no doubt. JCC will turn on the heat early and wear down and stop Martinez. The rematch will be more thrilling cause JCC knows he can knock out Martinez like the rest of the world.
