And you created an alt just to post this nonsense?

I'm here to talk boxing, not to ride some guy's jock just 'cause he's from the same land I was born in. I've defended Rigo plenty around here. But that's when I believed he deserved it. Tonight he deserves a little criticism.

Post under your real name next time. You're embarrassing us both.

his chin is very shaky, the challenge is finding that chin. Everytime he get's hit clean he gets rocked. I can't imagine what a donaire left hook would do to him.

I have seen some of Marroquin's fights here in Oklahoma. He is a decent fighter, but remember his competition here in the midwest is limited. I knew he was being underestimated, but I also knew he didnt have much of a chance. He may have twice the fights of Rigo, but fully 18 of them are against less than stellar opposition. ( a nice way of saying he fights guys in indian casinos that are actually bricklayers or casino security guards when not in the ring). NOTHING Marro has seen in the ring to date had him ready to face Rigondeaux.

That being said.....Marro hurt Rigo on two seperate occasions. That should make his fans nervous.

And people said that Nonito is ducking this kid? Rigo probably shouldnt even be on Donaires radar at this point.

There's a difference between pride and blindness. We can discuss the subject all you want when you step out from behind your alt.

Yeah, I don't like it at all. Rigo apparently spent most of the night demonstrating Marroquin didn't belong in the same breath with him...except for two brief moments. And those are the instances that draw attention. Rightfully so. Robert isn't in his class.

Martinez almost lost it all to Chavez after demolishing him for eleven rounds. The same can happen to Guillermo if he steps in the ring with Donaire. I don't want to see that happen. But you have to believe it can after tonight.

I didnt watch the fight yet but I remember that Marroquin kid from the Pac-Clottey card and he looked good.

Could it be a case of maybe Marroquin wasnt as bad as the scores indicated?
