Marroquin came to fight and slowed down the normally lethally-efficient Rigo. Good fight. Not what I expected at all, but Rigo picked it up as the fight progressed.

Martinez almost lost it all to Chavez after demolishing him for eleven rounds. The same can happen to Guillermo if he steps in the ring with Donaire. I don't want to see that happen. But you have to believe it can after tonight.

Rigo was stunned a couple times but his skills and speed were still top notch. I do think against Donaire he runs the risk of getting out worked though, you can guarantee that Rigo isn't getting a big fight now.
Rigondeaux should fight someone like Shimoda or NDlovu next.

Decent win for Rigo, Marroquin needs to learn how to finish fighters, rocked Rigo twice and both times smothered himself.
If i'm in Rigo's camp, i'm concerned about Rigo's punch resistance, he wants Donaire, but he needs to be careful cause Nonito has one of the best left hook in the game.

Rigo is a special talent but will fall now that his chin has been exposed. I bet Nonito Donaire was slobbering at the thought of getting a shot at this guy, he wouldn't last 5 rounds with Donaire.(Way too much power and can match Rigo's speed easily)

Don't have to waste time going back and forth with fans of Donaire In Disguise who are trying to convince themselves that Donaire can beat Rigondeaux so they are trying to find every little thing to criticize about
All Donaire have to do if he wins his next fight (and that is not even a guarantee) is to fight Rigondeaux...People have yet to even see the best from Rigondeaux yet especially Offensively, these guys once they get hit a few times with that Left to the Body they all stop throwing punches and go into survival mode and who could blame them...Rigondeaux is a masterful counter puncher but trust me he can do so much more offensively but none of the guys who he fought as a Pro has been able to bring it out of him, he almost gets BORED in the ring especially when things start to get TOO EASY
