Translation: "There is no way we lose a decision no matter what happens in the ring, Arum has already seen to that and Martinez knows this as well. No matter how good he looks in the early rounds Sergio knows he will need to go for the late KO and that will leave him open for a late stoppage by my cruiserweight Chavez Jr."

      Fixed, lol

Seriously? And he brought up the kelly pavlik fight to boot? Brb, martinez didnt fight at a high pace in the pavlik fight, nor did he switch gears in the 9th round and kelly couldnt keep up.

Imo, its gonna be much of the same as the kelly fight. Alot of movement from martinez, will trouble/stifle chavez' attack. Later on, chavez will adjust and be able to catch martinez here and there, will win a few rounds, then martinez will turn switch gears and make it rain on chavez. Chavez will be worn down physically at this point, enabling the ko.

Would love to see Chavez KO'd on a body shot...how ironically sweet would that be?
I would classify Martinez as a head hunter, but he throws to the body on occasion to avoid getting predictable. He likes to throw the lead left to the breadbasket.

Disagree with Roach here completely. Sergio has excellent stamina and endurance. His high number of late stoppages is a testament to the fact. Chavez Jr. is going to get outgunned, plain and simple. It will either he a TKO or shutout decision for Maravilla with Jr.'s face being bloodied and cut all to hell.

I love how Roach is using the Pavlik fight as a benchmark. This is what I remember of that fight.

IMO Sergio has already fought the exact fight he needs to fight in order to beat Chavez in the Pavlik fight. If he uses the same strategy I don't see how he loses.

Very well said, that's my thought's also.

I agree 100 percent. People have retorted by saying that its different because chavez is a way better body puncher, but imo it all remains the same. Cant hit what you cant catch. I dont see martinez staying still long enough for chavez to sit down on anything meaningful/unload, as far as body shots paying dividends later. That is ofcourse unless martinez tries making a big statement and goes toe to toe with chavez more than he would if he would fight smart.

Itll be interesting to see how much damage/trouble he can put martinez in tho when he does land something meaningful. Hes a big guy who does punch hard.
