These guys just don't know what they're talking about.

He's trying to compare me saying that if Pacman wants to call out Cotto, he should fight him at his healthy weight to:

If Ward wants Martinez who's not fighting at 168, it's fair game for Martinez to demand 160. Even though the situations couldn't be further apart.

Then he goes unto say that I'm supporting Martinez. Even though the fundamental difference between me & Pacman fans are I acknowledge that if Martinez goes to 168 he gets destroyed, while the Pacman fan believes Pacman beats Cotto at 154 even though in fact he called Cotto out at a mannyweight no higher than 150.

Perhaps this prevalence of weight "jumping" is an indicator of far too many weight classes...

Martinez's camp is too funny! He won't move up to 168 to fight Andre Ward, who is claimed to be "too" big, but he's about to fight a guy who literally comes in at Light Heavy in his next fight! Talk about contradictory!

Why does Martinez love the WBC? Theyre the snakes that stripped him of his belt to gift it to JCC Jr in the first place?

Great post! That was a big mistake by Dawson moving down. I would definitely suggested catch weight instead of focusing on the SMW division. Eventually Ward would have moved up, I would have made him a good offer to move up...

Martinez is free to fight or not fight anyone he chooses. Especially someone is a higher division. But if you don't wanna challenge bigger guys, just keep it real, say so and keep pushing. Because this article is nothing but a bunch of lies and fabrications and can be proven by the WBC's series of pre-fight weigh-ins. At the 30 weigh-in for the Chavez fight, he weighed 174, which was only two lbs less than Jr. At a 30 day weigh-in, a fighter has generally been in training for 2-4 weeks. If Martinez weighed 174 after 2-4 weeks of training, I have a hard time buying that he is a blown up jr middleweight. And the claim that he made the 160 limit for his upcoming fight is a flat out lie. Because at the WBC 7 day weigh-in, he weighed in at 167. Like I said, I'm cool with Martinez not wanting to fight bigger guys. But if he doesn't, don't try and insult my intellegence with lies and stories about how little he is.

Look what happened to Jones when he lost over 20 pounds of muscle and bulk to fight Tarver. Look what happened to Chris Byrd when he went to Lightheavyweight, he was stopped by a guy who hits half as hard as David Tua. Look what happened to Leonard when he was fighting Middleweight/Supermiddleweight then fought Norris at 154. Not good going down in weight.
