Glad someone else pointed out the 7 day weight of 167, which makes Sampson a liar. in the article he said Sergio was at weight last week...weight is 160

I can respect the guys that don't cave in to pressure and fight at a weight they can't really compete at. there will be no asterisk after they get demolished, just ppl talking trash about them and an ass whoopin.
If your great, which Ward is, He should have little issue with this type of concession.

Team Martinez is indeed doing a Team Pacquiao. Demanding a weight or no fight.

Without a CW this fight is dead plain and simple. Ward Dirrell seems logical but he hasn't done anything to earn a shot yet.A Bute fight still could be possible in the future if he beats Froch in the rematch and at 175 you have Cloud Pascal those would be good fight for Ward if he decides to move up

You're not great if you move down and make a concession, you're more like, in great danger to be weightdrained and unhealthy, and just embarrass yourself, not having any strength and just be there as pinata for the other opponent enjoying himself with a weightdrained weakling.

Since it was team Dawson that called out Ward at 168.
Really, how many times is this going to have to be explained?
Ward has said that he won't go below 168.
Call him a ***** or whatever, but it's the weight he is most comfortable with at this time.
I don't see the fight coming off, and see a JCC jr fight much more realistic, since Jr. is a pretty big 160.
I wouldn't be fair for Martinez to have to go up to 68, and it wouldn't be fair for Ward to have to drop to 60.
End of.
