Do you know how your statement is rediculous mang?

    (1) This is a discussion about the upcoming Chavez-Martinez fight, and it has nothing to do with Floyd Mayweather, yet you bring him into the conversation for absolutely no reason.

    (2) You bring up a hypothetical situation and try to have it add weight to your argument. Protip: Don't use 'If X did this' or 'If X did that' as part of your arguments. In fact, don't use the word If at all.

    (3) Your defending diuretics despite it is a banned drug. This is clearly a no brainer, is diuretics a banned substance yes/no? If you start to defend diuretics then that's just a slippery slope fallacy that leads towards other drug use and the defense of those drugs: 'Why can't I use X substance, its not like steroids, and its no worse then diuretics?' See what happens there? If the state/sanction body law states if a drug is legal, you are allowed to use it. If it states that a substance is illegal you can't use it. It terribly is that simple, and when you defend the use of an illegal drug, man, that's low.

Nah bud, do you know how ridiculous your statement is mang? Using the diuretic Jr. used to lose weight is still a banned substance. Sure it doesn't give you, "big muscles." but what it does is give the heavier fighter the advantage of making weight then easily ballooning back to their heavier weight.

Obviously, being heavier will work to your advantage as you can swallow punches from smaller opponents easier and throw stronger punches. This is not fair and considered cheating - rightfully so. Thus diuretic's are banned from the sport.

Jr. walks into fights as a Cruiserweight fighting Middleweights and "disappeared" come test time (vs. Rubio). Seems awfully fishy and very "disrespectful."

Why would Chavez take the sport seriously? Everything has been handed to him on a silver platter. he's made millions of dollars fighting nobodies. While Chavez was getting completely undeserved results against Carlos Molina, Martinez was getting draws against the likes of Kermit Cintron (who he not only knocked out, but decisively beat on points). Chavez fought in front of packed houses when he wasn't in the top hundred of his division. He's been one the most protected, coddled fighters in history. He doesn't appreciate how tough it is to make it big in this sport--his actions show rather that he takes it all for granted.

Don't get me wrong, it is not Chavez fault it has all been gifted to him. But he has not shown any humility and that disgusts most fight fans. This is a guy that has been given the middleweight championship of the world without having ever fought the top fighters in the division (and if you try to argue that Rubio, Lee or Zbik should be considered in that group, you are doing a great disservice to the deep middleweight division). He should be humble and try to prove he deserves the opportunity to get in the ring with Martinez. He should acknowledge that the strap he wears around his waist was improperly and disgustingly taken by the corrupt WBC and its fraud Jose Suleiman. Martinez has every right to be disgusted with Chavez and the travesty which resulted in Chavez wearing a belt that he doesn't deserve and rightfully belongs to Martinez.

I agree that this is the biggest fight of his career, and he's answering questions, but he has the tendency to take it too far at times. (see below)

I agree. As I mentioned above, Sergio has the tendency to take his trash talk a bit too far, when it comes to the sensitive TR and Freddie Roach fighter (Chavez).

As we all know, it has been some fishy stuff going on in Julio's camp no secret. I know that Sergio asked for random testing, and it got declined...he almost didn't get this fight because of it.

The fact that he still agreed to fight him after they declined the testing, says a lot about his confidence in knowing that he will win regardless.

I just made a big deal of him bringing up the PED stuff again, because it's too close to the fight day, and we all know how touchy Arum and Roach gets when it comes to their fighters being discussed in the same sentence with PEDs.

For all we know, they could get a wild hair up their @sses, and threaten to call of the fight. All Im saying is, chill out Sergio, you got the fight, go out there and beat him...save the "touchy" trash-talk for after the fight. No harm in that...

This loss could be a good thing for Chavez Jr. Maybe he'll realize he's NOT invincible, and stop riding on the coattails of his father, and become his own man.

Martinez is, as I stated, seemingly jealous, because Chavez Jr. has everything he wants ..... and had to do very little to get it.

                    That's just the breaks.

Martinez will probably break-down and cry if Chavez Jr. beats him without the help of the judges.
The bold, probably what gets under his skin most. Personally, i cant blame him, but atleast hes getting a chance on saturday.

Could be jealousy, bu guaranteed hate is a part of the mix. You dont hear Sergio bagging/attacking other succesful people....who earned their accolades.
