You aren't serious right? How can you compare Calzaghes athleticism and Roy's athleticism lol. Sure Joe beat Roy, but Roy was way past prime with losses to people he would have dominated during his prime. Roy never had a good chin in my opinion, his athleticism allowed him to be effectively undefeated in 49 fights at 154, 160, 175 and 200+. Roy will go down as a legend of the ring, Calzaghe hasn't really gone down as anything but an undefeated fighter with a controversial decision over Hopkins. That's saying something since Roy has 8 losses or so now, and Calzaghe has 0. His undefeated record means nothing.
As for the Ward "debate", Ward has cleaned out a division in 26 fights, with a serious chance of cleaning out 175 in the very near future. In 26 fights, Joe did ****. When Ward's career is over, Calzaghe will have nothing on him. You're effectively comparing someones full career to someone who's nowhere near finished. And even then, most people would say Ward's career now is equal or greater than Calzaghes career, in only 26 fights.
The point you're missing is, Ward has a serious chance of being an ATG. Roy and Hopkins will go down as Legends. Calzaghe failed to achieve both, and its something youll have to deal with.
