Past Prime and Old r 2 different things... Eubank was past prime

Calzaghe's best Super Middleweight Win was against Kessler, and Ward dominated Kessler and had a much easier time doing so... Calzaghe's best win (if not Kessler) was Hopkins... Ward just beat the guy that beat Hopkins

And as far as Froch... Ward beat Froch

What else needs to be explained?

joe calzaghe was 35 when he beat a 28yr old prime kessler

andre ward was 25 when he beat a 31yr old past prime kessler

jean pascal took chad dawson 0

          carl froch took pascal 0

mikkel kessler took froch's 0 and his belt.........

joe calzaghe took kessler 0 and his belts and andre ward fights everybody's leftovers

What else needs to be explained?........

            "Ward fights everybody's leftovers"

Lol, wow... when Pascal gave Dawson that violent beating, he was never the same... Despite going on to defeat the guy that schooled Pascal twice... When Kessler barely beat Froch, Froch was never the same... Despite going on to the tournament finals and beating the regarded second best Super Middleweight in the world immediately following... And when Joe slapped Kessler around in that life and death match, Kessler was never the same... Despite becoming the #1 super middle weight and favorite of the tournament... And I suppose when Froch beat Pascal he was never the same... (even though this has nothing to do with anything cause neither Ward or Calzaghe fought him) despite going on to win the lineal light heavyweight title from the #1 light heavyweight

I can see in the Joe Calzaghe world a loss is ALWAYS this psychologically damaging thing... Which is why Joe had to avoid it at all costs by avoiding any serious threats (ala Roy Jones, James Toney in their primes... Barely escaped with an arguable at best win over Hopkins and shit his pants at the thought of a rematch)

Ward being undefeated and having dominated most of his wins (including one over Froch himself) puts him at No.1 in my opinion.
I agree but I also like Froch. I won't even mention the zaghe...

                  name 1 undefeated champion ward fought?....you can't

ward best wins are kessler and bika two guy that got whooped by a 35yr old man

andre ward's a ***** calling out a 40yr old man that ain't whooped know 168 pound ass in 5 years
I cant take a guy serious with Calzaghe in his avatar while he says Ward fought nobody. Ward fought everybody while Calzaghe fought nobody. Roy and Hopkins were too old to compete with Calzaghe, so Calzaghe doesnt even belong on a list together with Ward and Froch. I have them both way above Calzaghe.
While Calzaghe's best wins were against Kessler and Lacy, both Froch and Ward fought more prime top fighters and beat them.

froch has a longer / deeper resume, but that's not the criterion upon which a resume is judged

ward has the higher quality wins.

Joe calzaghe has athletes gifts beyond compare, how could Roy and Hopkins possibly compete with him

who are the so called prime top fighters andre ward beat?.......

carl froch was 35 when ward fought him

froch got his 0 and his belt took by kessler

The biggest name ward fought was a aging mikkel kessler

The hardest fight ward had was a aging sakio bika it was "a life-and-death struggle".

After the fight ward's mum said that bika made her baby's face all red
