    Rank these Super Middleweight resumes.

    Joe Calzahe

Jeff Lacy - prime, undefeated champ
Mikkel Kessler - prime, undefeated champ
Roy Jones Jr - out of prime
Bernard Hopkins - still highly competitive, ring mag LHW champ
Chris Eubank - out of prime
    Peter Manfredo Jr
    Sakio Bika
    Mario Veit
    Byron Mitchell
    Charles Brewer
    Omar Shieka
    Robin Reid

NOTABLE DOMINANT WINS: Jeff Lacy, Roy Jones Jr, Chris Eubank
NOTABLE COMPETITIVE (but clear) WINS: Mikkel Kessler
    NOTABLE CONTROVERSIAL WINS: Bernard Hopkins
    NOTABLE LOSSES: None

GENERAL VERDICT: Decent overall opposition and career, wins, undefeated record helps, and the way he beat Lacy when he wasn't expected to. Moved up to beat a still formidable Hopkins with more punch output.

    Carl Froch

Lucian Bute - prime, undefeated, champ
Andre Ward - prime, undefeated, champ
    Mikkel Kessler - elite
Jean Pascal - prime, undefeated, champ
Glen Johnson - out of prime
    Andre Dirrell - prime, undefeated
Arthur Abraham - elite, dangerous but limited
Jermain Taylor - competitive, but worn
    Robin Reid

NOTABLE DOMINANT WINS: Lucian Bute, Arthur Abraham
NOTABLE COMPETITIVE (but clear) WINS: Pascal, Johnson, Taylor
    NOTABLE CONTROVERSIAL WINS: Andre Dirrell
NOTABLE LOSSES: Mikkel Kessler, Andre Ward

GENERAL VERDICT: Great opposition, but some key losses and close wins

    Andre Ward

    Carl Froch - elite, champ
    Mikkel Kessler - elite, champ
    Arthur Abraham - elite, dangerous
Chad Dawson - elite, LHW champ
    Edison Miranda
    Sakio Bika
    Allan Green

NOTABLE DOMINANT WINS: Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler, Arthur Abraham, Chad Dawson
NOTABLE COMPETITIVE (but clear) WINS: Case for Froch
    NOTABLE CONTROVERSIAL WINS: None
    NOTABLE LOSSES: None

GENERAL VERDICT: Good mix of quality opposition, wins and dominance

    1. Froch
    2. Ward
    3. Calzaghe

And Calzaghe didn't fight Hopkins or Jones at 168.

              1. Ward
              2 Froch
              3. Calzaghe

Ward being undefeated and having dominated most of his wins (including one over Froch himself) puts him at No.1 in my opinion.

Ward doesn't get to fight himself so that hurts him and Froch gets Ward's name on his resume so it helps his. But the fact that Ward dominated Froch and dominated the guy that beat Froch I have Ward #1.
