The people who think weight made no diffrence are in denial

Dawson one of my fav fighters, we from the same hood and everything. He look strong against bhop, pushing him off at will. Against ward he didnt look as strong. I guess ward is just that strong. Dawson look so damn frail in there. He didnt look rite from round 1. I had him losing every round. Ward look good in there. He made dawson look bad. Dawson punches are always long in every fight for some reason. I dont like that he quit and that he didnt try for a knockout. He look like a second tier fighter in there.

PLEASE stop saying Dawson said the weight wasn't a issue himself...PLEASE!!!...he was just trying to be classy by not taking anything away from SOG...thats all....as for the fight, he looked weak and fragile, everytime he got touched he seemed to be hurt...smh...really weird!!

at the end of the day, you can throw this fight in the Cotto-Pac archives....dudes are saying that SOG would've took it at any weight just like they said Pac would take it to Cotto at any weight....but many don't agree

Look, it's not whether you believe Ward beats Dawson at any weight or not, because we will never know. But this fight out of any other fight is a prime example of what weight drain is. I'm not even going to include the DLH-PAC fight because DLH was just a zombie and ghost.

Dawson had literally no legs or energy from round 1. I had him actually winning rounds 1 and 2 but it was plentifully obvious he was drained. His legs were slow and he had no energy to not even move his head. His balance was way off.

I challege anyone to eat nothing for about a week but bread and water, very low calories while tranining, they will feel like **** and not be able to move.

Props to Ward he's a great fighter, but don't kid yourself Dawson was a zombie in there.

Pascal has good power when he throws and he was buzzed a few times thats it, never KD or KOd

Ward also has good power,he hurt Froch one of the best chins not only in his weightclass but in boxing period...If Pascal had more stamina I believe he could have KO'd Dawson...Ward has very good stamina and is far more accurate then Pascal..Which is the reason Dawson was stopped..Not the weight excuse...Dawson is a pro,and he called for the weight..Stop with the b!tch azz sounding excuses...

They are pros..I don't want to hear it as an excuse to why they lost..I also don't believe that's the reason he lost..Dawson looked strong imo,and fresh..It was not like the first solid shot made Dawson's legs go bye bye..He got caught with a clean shot,followed by more clean shots..Anyone's punch resistance would not good at that point...I also pointed out to you that Froch was rock and surprised at Wards punching power as well..He was not weight drained as you like to put it..I also believe Froch has a far better chin then Dawson as well..

I personally think Ward was able to land on Dawson,that's why his punch resistance was not there...People forget how Pascal was rocking Dawson(mind you Pascal is not nearly as skilled)and hurting him..Was that due to weight??Come on fellas,it's clear as day that Chad is not as skilled as Ward...Early in Chads career he was thought to be a lil suspect in the chin department anyway..But when ya fight old fighters who ya have more talent then you can hide it...But both times Chad fought young fresh opponents he has looked bad and lost the fight...

Pascal has very heavy hands and is built like a tank. Hopkins had to get up a couple of times against Pascal and definitely hits harder than Ward so not sure what your point is.

I was expecting Chad to actually lose weight and come in lighter on fight night than what he usually does. But he entered the ring at 185, which around the same as his fight against Hopkins.
