i feel is an insult to the ATG legends who faced the best in there weight classes n fought the best to have a guy like calzaghe who only did 3 fights against solid opposition, i even feel the big klits should get more credit then calzaghe

Calzaghe's a great fighter, who will be underrated because of the early part of his career, but trying to disqualify Dawson from having a better resume than Calzaghe because "he's only fought names in the past 3 years" is a fallacy, hypocritical, and counterproductive to your argument.

Erase Calzaghe's run from 2006 to 2009 and what does his resume become?

Except for Eubank, could it be said that he only fought names in his last 3 years?

Before 2006, Calzaghe's career resembled what Chris John's career is today... and Ward's run from 2009-2012 is better than Calzaghe's from 2006-2009 and if he hasn't surpassed Calzaghe's resume, he is close.

Ward would beat the Calzaghe that fought Bhop. Prime vs prime, it's a different story. I'm slightly leaning towards Andre. He got the tools to cut down Calzaghe's workrate as well as the speed and conditioning to dictate the pace.

Fully endorse this post. Ward is the best super middleweight ever, already.

I'm sorry but Joe's sloppy punches and trying to out work Ward would not work.

It's relatively close to a degree at this point.

The sad part is, Andre Ward is just 28 years old.

I'd still lean on Ward anyway.
