Why do you think Calzaghe was the underdog against Jeff Lacy?

Because before the Lacy fight, Calzaghe fought no one of note, that's why.

So essentially, Calzaghe's only good fights were Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins.

Please don't count Jones, Manfredo or Bika.

Ward's best wins are Dawson, Froch, Abraham, Bika, and Kessler.

Calzaghe's best wins are Hopkins, Kessler, Lacy, and Bika.

Ward's wins over Froch and Kessler were big, as was his win over Dawson. It would have been greater had Ward gone up in weight to fight Dawson though, that's a fact. Abraham and Bika were solid wins over other guys in the Top 10.

Ward also has other "alright" wins over Miranda and Green.

Calzaghe's wins over Hopkins and Kessler were big wins, though his win over Hopkins was questionable. Lacy was a big win and he gets credit for that as a solid win, as he does with Bika to me.

Joe also had "alright" wins over Reid, Brewer, Woodhall, and Eubank.

The kessler vs Calzaghe fight was a very competitive fight and mikkel where landing bombs into the final round.
Joe won yes but is was not in any way of from a shootout

Ward beat up kessler

I'm sorry, but who did Bika beat before he fought Calzaghe? If I remember correctly, he lost to Sam Solliman before fighting Joe.

Bika's not a bad fighter, but when we're trying to compare someone's resume with the ATG's and make an argument for them as one of the best/elite of all time, mentioning Sakio Bika won't help the case.
