      Apparently SMW Thomas Oosthuizen's camp tried hard to get a fight at LHW with Cleverly but were turned down, this according to his promoter Rodney Berman.

            Though Mack is no world beater, Clev is only a belt holder because the guy who previously held the belt was a nutcase who spent more time in court than in the ring and made a habit of not turning up for fights.

            Maybe I'm in the minority but I find all of this 'he should've gone for it to be a two weight world champ' stuff ridiculous. NC has not beaten a world champion, and has not beaten any top 10 fighter. Most had him losing to Bellew. Winning a belt off of a 'champion' like that is not a big accomplishment.
