Robin Reid was prob best fighter calzaghe fought and that he just about won.....(and dint win in my opinion)

Reid is no way a better fighter than Joe. Reid was humuliated by Lacy, which just showed you Reid was never anything special. Anyone who thinks Lacy will get such an easy ride against Calzaghe is a twat.

I was shocked that Reid did as well as he did against Lacy, because he'd looked absolutely awful in his last couple of fights. Had Calzaghe fought Reid instead of Lacy, even the washed-up Calzaghe we see these days, he'd of anihilated Reid in much more impressive fashion than Lacy did. And if you think Lacy beats the Reid of 1996 and first half of 97 then you really do need to wake up to reality.

Saint, that was just one fight. Tell me one boxer who has not been involved in a decision that people think ought to have gone the other way. Eubank, Hopkins, Calzaghe, De La Hoya etc all have experienced it. In the end, all these boxers are/were on the whole better boxers than their opponants.

Lacy also shamelessly ducked Carl Froch in 2000 in a USA vs England meet, he was supposed to be fighting Froch but didn't bother turning up because he saw how Froch had dismantled one of his US team-mates.
