Sturm DID fight in America, he beat and then got robbed against OScar De La Hoya....one of Americas ALL time FAVORITE fighters. He then earned a title and defended it in his own backyard? Why should he defend his title in America where he got ROBBED blindly in one of his biggest fights there?

Also you act as if America is entitled to having champs defend titles there. The man won a title and can choose to fight wherever he wants. Not even including the fact he got robbed.

Ward has fought in Oakland 4 times in his career, Dawson makes five and almost all Americans fight their whole career in America. America is the fight capital of the world. America is where the networks, popularity and money is. Why leave?
