Well it is a volontary defense so K2 can pretty much put whatever condition they want in the contract. If Whack wants a shot at the biggest title in sport right now, he should comply. Otherwise he must get in line.

As for the options, well regardless of us fans liking Them or not, they are part of the game and has been so since (maybe before) Don King had monopoly on HW boxing. David Haye had to give Sauerland 3 options for getting a shot at Valuev for example, and Brian Magee gave options for Mogens Palle when fighting Mads Larsen.

I was going to say something that I thought was intelligent. However, there really is no reason to say anything becasue Nelson has said all that needs to be said on his matter. But, none of it really matters because Wach has little to no chance of winning the fight.

Did you read the article it said the rematches would be on Klitschkos terms. While he's fighting the rematches he would be stripped of his titles for not fighting mandatories.

What's wrong with the standard 1 rematch instead of the fight me, fight my brother, fight me again clauses.

This **** right here. If you have confidence in your game and want to get paid/better contract, pass the optional defense offer and fight your way into the mandatory position like Lamont Peterson did with Khan. Otherwise you have no right to complain; the champ calls the shots.
