Why do so many Mexicans hate on Chavez Jr?

Genuine question.

I've seen loads of Mexicans on this forum hate on Chavez Jr and it baffles me as to why. Mexicans usually take a lot of pride in their fighters and hey, with the warriors they have had who can blame them.

But why does Chavez Jr not recieve any of this warmth from his fellow countrymen?

Because he acts like he is a world beater when it is widely known that Bob Arum protects him (like Bob protects Pac).

Chavez is supposed to be the Champion and yet he was in fact protected. People are embarrassed by this. Much like Pac's career since fighting Cotto at a CW back in 2009. People are fed up with Bob Arum's BS....

However now that Bob thinks Chavez is ready, IF he where to actually win people should gain a lot of respect for him and shouldn't have much to hate on. I just don't see it happening and people will clearly see that Bob Arum was a smart guy for protecting Chavez, let alone Pac.
