I guess I am one of them. But I realize how good he WAS and the fact that he won't fight any good heavys is a problem I have. If anyone here can name 1 guys that Toney had taken on at heavy that was any good (and don't even say Guinn cuz I call bull**** on that one) I will turn.

He is a talented fighter who is smart because he will beat Rahman, I mean what top 10 guy couldn;t beat him right now, and then fight a few small guys before he goes out on top. But mark my words, he will NEVER fight Wlad, Byrd, Vitali or any of ther big guys in the division.

Toney is definitely the best heavyweight in the world today. The only guy I see that might give him problems other than Rahman is Byrd. Toney should beat Rahman and unify some belts ASAP!!! Time is running out.

I think the only thing that beats Toney now is his age, but don't worry, I won't say Toney was out of his prime if he loses because he looked amazing against Holyfield, Booker, Ruiz, and Guinn. Honestly, he looked best in the Holyfield fight, but it's not like he's slipped or anything.

Bottom Line people don't like Toney for the same reason people don't like Floyd Mayweather because he is confident and very outspoken about his skills thats all

I talk to alot of trainers white and black and all the white trainers i talk to seem to always mention that Floyd Mayweather has alot of skills and is masterful but they always mention his attitude and personality right after giving him props in every sport i've watched or taken part in people hate a ****y confident outspoken black male

You cannot deny the skill level of James Toney i'm with DiegoFuego on this one if he loses i'm not gonna say he was not in his prime cause right now Toney to me is back at the top of his game like he was when he tore apart Iran Barkley........but everybody Toney has fought he has made them look bad and lackluster its not like these guys are actually giving him any problems or winning any rounds against him bottom line James Toney can beat anybody in your top 10 today
