I don't even think you believe he really beat Marquez. He did look like $h!t in both fights. He went from dropping Marquez in 2 fights at a lighter weight to being soundly out-boxed by a smaller, weaker & older fighter in his own weightclass.

He only fought in spurts vs Bradley, tired, & didn't even seem to care that he got an unpopular decision that went against him. Even when B-Hop clearly losses he cries & complains which shows that he cares.

The killer instinct is gone, the fire is gone. The power disappeared, the desire disappeared & a win over Pacman in 2012 does nothing for Floyd compared to what it would have been at the least 2 years ago.

But, Floyd ain't the type to take tune-ups. He's gonna fight guys who either bring $$$ or name value. The guys that fit the requirements are Martinez/Canelo/Pac/Alexander (if the fight is in STL). Hell, if Josesito beats Canelo, maybe he'll be in the running to fight Floyd, never know.

sure, but in 08 he was undefeated and hadnt been knocked out yet. the may cotto fight was a good fight, and 9-3 sounds about right. but what im saying is had they fought in 08, and floyd won, wouldnt that look alot better on his record?

Marquez was from 2 weight classes south, fighting in Pacman's division. That's a fact. Therefore he was the smaller & weaker fighter. Basic common sense.
