I agree.

I'm a huge fan of the Heavyweight division no matter how bad it is nowadays. I like Dillian Whyte. He's got some mean power. He's fighting in September and October according to Boxrec.

Hoping to see him contending for some minor titles in the future. Makes me wonder if Dillian will meet Del Boy at some point.

Sadly, Derek Chisora has got to that stage in his career..

I disagree about Chisora, he's shown heart against heavy odds and still has time on his side. I feel he'll still be in the international mix when the Klitschkos are gone, he just needs time off to get his priorities right.

Whyte and Chisora are good friends, a future match up is unlikely. Forget Price - Fury, my domestic dust up of choice in the next year or two is Whyte - Perez.

He said he wants to win the world championships, so that's another year at least. I wouldn't mind him staying amateur for another year or two but I don't want to see him at Rio, he should be making his way in the professional ranks then.

I agree, the World Championships in 2013 would be a good target for him (though he'd get his greatest contract now).

He telegraphs his punches and still needs work on other technical aspects of his game. His physical attributes put him in good stead and he has the power to cause damage but he's only fighting cans.

Once he steps up we'll see how good he is but don't be surprised if he never goes past European level.

His spell of fighting the likes of Fury/Helenius/Vitali/Haye means he can walk into a fight with any heavyweight. He's proven, even in defeat, that he's good enough to be facing the best fighters in his division. I'd like to see him pursue a fight against a gatekeeper and then target Arreola.

I was riding Whyte a bit then, I'd disagree with you about Arreola purely because I think Chisora can do much better. Despite his good potential (albeit overshadowed by his weight) Arreola's name doesn't carry much stead due to his unwillingless to step up after his losses and wouldn't do as much for Chisora financially as other American's (Wilder/Mitchell) - correct me if I'm wrong

I really like Chisora. I want to see him bounce back. Very tough run for him with Remigijus Ziausys (very tough Journeyman), Robert Helenius, Vitali and of course David Haye.

TBH I think Arreola is a gatekeeper.

He has proven that if he is heavy, he can't move enough to be effective, and if he is light his power wanes badly

combine that with the fact he just isn't all that skilled

He should take a couple of fights against lower ranked fighters to boost his record and confidence back up. He's better than 15-4.

Holyfield? But jokes aside there depressing isn't really anyone else, perhaps Tor Hamer or Kingpin as those fights would be far easier to make.

Can't see Hamer fighting Chisora, Kingpin vs Chisora would be a good fight - could possible see that happening. But when you really look at things, Arreola is the best option.

I do worry that Chisora's time in this sport may be nearing an end.
