Zbik might have little pop, but he sure did mark Chavez's face up. All Martinez has to do is let his hands go, cuz Chavez will be there to hit no doubt about it.

macklin is ok but he aint any better than zbik, andy lee, or rubio..

and i dont take these "woulda coulda shoulda fantasy win talks" seriously....i care about what a fighter has DONE!
Macklin is better than all three of those fighters. And if you care about who's done more, it's Martinez. And it isn't even close.

i say macklin is about in the same level as rubio, zbik and andy lee....i know sergio has done more , but not much more..all he has over chavez is pwill and pavlik...and tbh, pavlik is only more on paper becuase of the lineal..

Macklin's "loss" to Sturm is better than any of the other three's best fights. I'm not dissing on those wins for Chavez Jr., they were good for him and he handled all three with ease. The wins over P-Will and Pavlik made him P4P. The Pavlik victory showed he could handle a big and strong MW. Lineal was a good bonus, but it was a good victory, Pavlik was coming on in the middle rounds and Martinez butchered his eye. Chavez Jr. IMO is the 3rd best MW in the world, after Martinez and Sturm. Whoever wins this fight, it will define their career.

ridiculous claim..the loss to sturm was legit despeite some people calling it a robberry...the fight was close.. how the hell is that much better win than junior's other 3 when they are about the same caliber fighters?...like i said , theres only 2 wins that sergio has over chavez and im not disagreeeing that...also, sergio is on his way out , chavez is just in his early carreer and he is catching up fast...if chavez wins, he ****s on sergio's resume right away..

As far as I know, I have not seen Sergio talking trash like this prior to any of his fights. The sudden change of character is suspect to me. I hope I am wrong, but I think Sergio is spooked.

You're in the minority, damn near every boxing person who scored it scored it for Macklin. Zbik got his ass handed to him by Sturm, he is not the same caliber as Macklin. Rubio has lost every time he stepped up, Ouma, Pavlik, and Chavez Jr. for example. Lee was a good win for Chavez Jr., but his best win is over McEwan.

We apparently disagree on the resumes of the two fighters, but IF Chavez Jr. does beat Martinez, he is one of the biggest names in the sport, no doubt. If Chavez Jr. wins, he just proves he's got talent that not everybody thought he had, it doesn't ruin Martinez's resume. He's a big draw now, if he beats a P4P fighter, he isn't fighting on regular HBO for awhile.

If Martinez wins, he should just go straight for Mayweather. He isn't getting any younger and this is would be the legacy fight with one of the best of this era.

i actually im not ..i,also , thought macklin won by a close margin....and what has zbik losing to sturm got to do with anything? sergio did'nt fight sturm or zbik..he fought macklin..and no matter how you spin it, macklin aint a better win than junior's other 3...lol, you act like sergio is some kind of superstar..jr right now is a bigger star than sergio despite having the slightly inferior resume..

Just proves Zbik isn't that caliber of fighter. How does that fight not mean anything? Bigger star, not a better boxer. Maravilla may not have the name yet, but he's got the skills.

How did I act like Martinez was a superstar? You realize that second paragraph is about Chavez Jr. right?
