I would really like to see Jr. win this fight, possibly very impressively as well.. It would be amazing for the legend to continue..

Originally posted by danceswithfire View Postman, the pwill shot was just one of the perfect shots that you dont always see...did he do that in any other fights? no , the other stoppages he had since then was a quittage or a corner stoppage ...all questionable stoppages ..also, those werent easy fights....
with the bolded, thats exactly what he's going do . we already kow he can take flushed shots man...and sergio aint no mike tyson either
A stoppage is a stoppage AKA KO. And they ALL were legitimate stoppages. So, you said that to prove what? The Andy Lee fight was a stoppage & he went the full 12 w/Rubio. So again - you said that to prove what?
Originally posted by danceswithfire View Postwell, atleast chavez fought for it...sergio did'nt for his jr mw title, it was literally given to him....
Originally posted by Dale Cardon View PostAs far as I know, I have not seen Sergio talking trash like this prior to any of his fights. The sudden change of character is suspect to me. I hope I am wrong, but I think Sergio is spooked.

He'd be advised to remember that despite there being over 200 countries and 7 billion people in the world; nowhere, on this massive planet, does there exist a blueprint on how to beat "Sugar" Cesar Chavez.
Infact 46 men have tried to put together a blueprint and , as a result, 46 men have been spent the night in the ICU.
Martinez will never be #1, but on the 15th of September, he will be #47.
