I believe it too. So Sergio Martinez calling Chavez Jr out for 2 years for a fight because he got stripped of his title so Chavez Jr can have one is not reality and common sense to you? Why would Sergio be scared of a fighter who was protected by Bob Arum against him? Arum admitted that he kept Chavez Jr safe until he thought he could beat Martinez. I still don't see that happening. Bugged out how people think Sergio Martinez who has been KO'n way better opponents than Chavez Jr, is scared of Chavez Jr? S#!t is ******.

Is Jr.'s chin really like granite? Don't use analogies that are not shatterproof. So you think Sergio isn't all that, so Chavez is? GTFOH with that BS....

Slob Arum & Done Su(should lay the fcuk down)man protected Chavez after Sergio was stripped for BS & had this man run this boy down. You wouldn't be pissed if something of yours was taken & the person who has is not trying to see you? Then you must get robbed & punked everyday......

Good post man but honestly I think it was Chavez Sr who pushed the envelope for the fight. Sr is a prideful fighter and Martinez was really disrespecting his son and he probably felt that was it. If it was left up to Bob Arum this fight would have NEVER happened.

Thanks! Ok, say Sr. pushed for the fight - he, Sulaiman & Arum all still let this drag on in hopes that Martinez's skills would decline while Jr.'s are on the upswing. Another thing, Sr. knows he lost to Whitaker & escaped with a draw, yet didn't even try to make a rematch, like he did with De La Hoya who beat that a$$ like he stole something. The one time he didn't have any pride, LOL. Chavez Sr., Sulaiman & Arum = the "Axis of Evil".....

I think the last time Martinez insulted Chavez Jr got under Sr. skin.
