How did I act like Martinez was a superstar? You realize that second paragraph is about Chavez Jr. right?

In your opinion he's not better. In my opinion he is a better fighter. IF he wins then you're right. IF he loses to Martinez, it's time to move up.

well, even IF he was better, he aint that much better and given chavez's jr beat more ranked fighters with the exeption of pwil and pavlik, it closes the gap even more....

Chavez Jr. has earned this fight. I just don't think he can win it.

We'll see, that's why they fight the fights. Should be a great action fight either way.

Definitely going to be a great fight. Gotta give Chavez credit for taking the fight, but he hasn't improved as much as he thinks. He has the size and power advantage but Maravilla has the boxing ability. Martinez will throw his combinations and get out of the way, while Chavez tries to track him down with a little bit of success. Martinez UD 8 rds to 4 in a fantastic fight!

what combos? martinez doesnt throw combos, he has a great left hand for sure, and martinez isnt as great as people think he is his best win to date is against williams a career welterweight whom had no buisnes at that weight class , plus hes come very close to losing against b-class euro fighters, I say martinez is in for a a very big surprise he has soo many weaknesses to exploit its not even funny , in fact he has far more weaknesses than chavez has he fights with his hands down and is losing his reflexes this can be seen in his last 3 fights.Shiaatalkers like gayavilla always wind up losing to the people least expected to.If martinez goes toe to toe which he will because hes overestimating himself it will be he that gets stopped mark my words.....I cant wait martinez didnt impress in his last fight at allll.
