Not just yet they haven't. But we really are becoming a global society.

In Soviet Russia Bronze Medal is Best Medal. Use to fix pipe.

      • The loaded part of the question is "The US is not doing well." Is this your example of NOT DOING WELL:

        Superfeatherweight: #1 Adrien Broner
        Light Welterweight: #1 Timothy Bradley
        Welterweight: #1 Floyd Mayweather Jr
        Supermidleweight: #1 Andre Ward
        Light Heavyweight: #1 Chad Dawson

Thats complete domination from 135-175. Anyone above that gets siphoned off to NFL/NBA, and Yanks are too beefy to compete below that.

        • If you are over 6'5" and athletic looking the first words out of anyone's mouth toward you will be "do you play basketball"~ in the US.

If you are that tall maybe a bit shorter but beefier it would be "do you play football."

If someone responded back "no, I am a boxer" to either question you would get looked at like you are from Mars.

Straight up~ if you can't accept that the best large athletes don't box from the US anymore then I don't know what to say. You can't turn chicken shit into chicken salad~ so if US trainers are starting with inferior large athletes the outcome is obvious. The US still produces other quality boxers, who happen to be a bit smaller athletes just the big excellent athletes you don't see unless they come to the game late~

          • Superfeatherweight: Adrien Broner needed a weight advantage to beat a journeyman in his last fight

Light Welterweight: Timothy Bradley really lost to Pacquiao, 1 KO in 10 fights

Welterweight: Floyd Mayweather Jr Getting old now, there is NO new Floyd coming up

Supermidleweight: Andre Ward Azazel needs to fight at home to get away with his headbutts & holding

Light Heavyweight: Chad Dawson fought old men except when he lost to Pascal

            • The idea "If boxers are not American they're no good" is illogical, unscientific and ******.

The reality is, there are talented fighters from all over the world.

130- Who beats Broner @ super featherweight???

140 - If it's not bradley its Danny garcia because khan was the best @ 140.

147- yes hes getting old but still dominating.

154- i like how you skipped it cause floyds the best there too.

168- really? He is unbeatable in a pretty stacked division. You sound a little upset

175- Either dawson or Bhop who is almost 50.. pretty embarrassing for non-Americans.

That's not the f***ing issue, don't change the subject now because you look like an idiot talking about American athletes and where they do or do not migrate when they begin athletic careers.

                  • 130- Who beats Broner @ super featherweight??? He can't make super featherweight! He'll lose at 140 fighting men his own size

140 - If it's not bradley its Danny garcia because khan was the best @ 140. to be fair, Danny Garcia IS very impressive

147- yes hes getting old but still dominating. he only fights once a year now - who will replace him as an elite boxer in the lighter divisions?

154- i like how you skipped it cause floyds the best there too. and getting old as Methusaleh

168- really? He is unbeatable in a pretty stacked division. You sound a little upset he'd lose if he didn't always fight at home, with those shady refs to let him cheat (or in Europe with the stringent PED testing that might reveal what Victor Conte's help was)

175- Either dawson or Bhop who is almost 50.. pretty embarrassing for non-Americans. B-Hop is very close to retirement

                    • I do think that a few NFL linebackers, defensive ends, and power forwards from the NBA could cause some havoc in the H.W. division, if they had been turned down a boxing path at a young age, instead of the sport that they play now.

As far as the lighter weight divisions, really can't say, as the majority of both NFL and NBA players are much bigger then your average light weight, welter, or even middle weight.
