after beating ricky hatton at 147 when hatton clearly struggled vs collazo,

floyd retired from boxing the 1st time when the welterweight division the hottest & deepest in all of boxing.

Prime paul williams. Prime Margarito. Prime Cotto. Younger Shane. All t those fights left off the table & floyd let everybody beat themselves then he just came in & picked up the pieces & scraps like a human vulture.

Where are the facts that back up your claim?

1) Floyd beat an undefeated Hatton at 147. So are your saying Floyd should have not fought Hatton because Hatton struggled against collazo? WOW.

2) Yes the WW division was hot at the time that Floyd retired....
But when Floyd was at 140 he couldn't get a fight with hatton, or Cotto.
Bob Arum told Floyds team that Cotto wasn't ready.
Hatton's people told Floyd that he wasn't ready as well. Look it up buddy.

PWilliams was an Al hayman fighter and so is Floyd.
Now name one Al Hayman fighter that has fought another Al hayman fighter?

Shane Mosley asked for 10 million when Hbo tried to make a fight between him and Floyd many years ago. Shane was 135 and floyd was 130.
Then years later Shane told the world on HBO that his teeth were loose and couldn't fight.

But you fail to talk about the options Bob Arum wanted from Floyd.
Bob wanted to renew his contract with floyd. These are all facts.

Why would Floyd resign with Bob when.....Bob owed him money for the Gatti and judah fights, Bob wouldn't make a fight with delahoya for floyd, And Bob didn't want to pay Floyd what he was asking for.

He is an ATG, but no where near GOAT status, any knowledgable fan knows this, where you guys are so busy, defending why he ducked all the named fighters, you guys still have yet to come up with an argument on why he is legit the GOAT. Yeah, look at their movement. Ray Robinson used angles, and great foot movement. He also used a style that many slick fighters use, the lunge in left hook, ala Floyd/Roy/Ali/Shane/SRL. He figured out, that you can use your feet and completely keep the fight at your pace. Watch the Robinson/Lamotta fight, he dissected a plodding brawler. Your trying to compare Ray Rob to James Toney, but in reality, without Ray Rob, there wouldnt be Floyd/Ali/SRL/Jones. Just like if their was no Dr. J, theirs no MJ.
