I never said it was ducking. I'm not a Floyd hater. You can't really blame him. Id wager everything I own that Al Haymon was the one making all of the decisions on who to fight when, and what made the most business sense.

With that said, the most business sense, doesn't always mean the most legacy sense.

People would have rather seen Floyd vs Cotto or Shane Mosley at that point in time. They were all at or near their physical primes, with Mosley at the tail end of it, and Cotto right at his peak.

Obviously, Hatton offered the better Risk/Reward, so that was the fight that was taken.

Floyd does his job, and fights whoever they put infront of him. He probably would have beaten both of them at the time.

I couldn't tell you who is the GOAT.

Who do think is the GOAT and why?
i try to stay away from this kinda topic. but for me its ali. he may not have the greatest resume when put next to guys like greb or robinson, but his impact was worldwide. his resume is also very much stacked and he might just be the greatest athlete of the 20th century. either him or jordan anyways.

At least, I'm defending my stance on the matter. And what have I made up? Your sitting on the side lines with your 2 cent comments. Let the big boys talk.

I'd argue that Ivan Calderon belongs on that list. He was a truly fantastic little fighter, and unfortunately overlooked because of his size. He possessed Pernell Whitaker levels of craft and slickness.

smh, now why the **** would i be made about a legitimate opinion??? u think ur the only one who thinks that? please. there are plenty of ppl who think greb, leonard and armstrong are above ali as well. those are all legit opinions.

EDIT: Benny Leonard, not sugar ray

Like I said... so if I can show you a fighter that combined angles, leaping hooks, and movement that fought before Ray Robinson, you would admit that you are an idiot?

I don't think anyone can argue that Ray Robinson or Ali could very well be the GOAT.

                      Pick one lol.
                      You gotta respect Ali.
