I respect your points but Guerrero doesn't get this opportunity if he isn't with GBP. Canelo isn't discussed for floyd ppv if he isn't with GBP.

It doesn't matter how compelling Guerrero's story is nor if we like him or if we hate Canelo. In each case GBP will have successfully used its muscle to get their fighter a fight they didn't earn or deserve.

Thats what promoters are for tho, to get you those type of fights. Guerrero actually earned his shot as Floyd. He took a big risk and passed it. While Ginger has done what? Why should he be fighting Floyd or Cotto when he hasn't fought anyone in his division?

And no, what GBP did for Guerrero is not the same as what they are doing with Canelo. They threw Guerrero in there vs a lion and made him EARN his shot. While they are spoon feeding Canelo baby food.

So I say if anything the Ghost deserves the shot at Floyd over ginger, he comes on to say the Ghost didn't deserve his shot at Aydin,lol.

Then he turns around & called the Ghost fighting a man 2 weight classes above him for the #1 spot the same as ginger beating absolutely no 1 in his weight class for a shot a Cotto or Floyd,lol!!

GBP is protecting Canelo to a degree. But if he gets a floyd fight, having not beaten any real 154 lber, thats just as bad as Guerrero getting to fight in an eliminator at 147, in his 1st fight at the weight, after being off a year. If its ok for Guerrero to fight Aydin then its ok for Canelo to fight floyd.

Now as far as who earned a floyd fight more, I'd again argue Guerrero "earning" a floyd fight at 147 isn't any worse than Canelo "earning" a floyd fight at 154. Yes Guerrero beat the #1 contender jumping up 2 weight classes.

But he doesn't get the chance to do that if he isnt with GBP.
