Canelo is not going to fight Cotto at MSG. You can bet on that.

Malignaggi and Bailey are both current 147 champions so what's the problem? Regardless if they lose there title fight next or not these guys were put against the wall to win these belts.Malignaggi stopping Senchenko in 9 rounds in the Ukraine and Bailey knocking out an undefeated Mike Jones. These guys are not your typical p4p champs but they do good work in keeping they're names alive.post\\.

2 in mines and many others WHO ARE NOT PUERTO RICANS.

Well yea duh,Canelo's protected.Nah but I don't see that fight happening, the timing is off.Unless Canelo doesn't come out hurt and make a good recovery which is expected

Canelo Is The Only Fight; Sergio Martinez Only Fights Smaller Guys!

Canelo and Cotto would be a war. Sergio doesn't do well with guys his size from his own division. Sergio is all about calling put smaller guys from other divisions. Lacks ballz. Cotto & Canelo certainly aren't lacking. Cotto could even take on Bernard Hopkins at a catch weight. Helluva payday, and along with Canelo the only two that could pull that fight off. Like when Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns went up to 160 and beyond to 175, because they had the ballz, they were Legends in the making. Sergio Martinez isn't from that mold. He'd rather fight a 135lber.

Alvarez?? As in Canello/Cinnamon?? I would think that at a hardcore boxing site like this people would actually utter realistic responses.

Canelo's NOT fighting less than 3 months removed from another fight. When factor in training time combined with a rest, it's barely a month. NOT HAPPENING. That is UNLESS the $$$ are huge in excess of $5 million per which it won't be.

MAYWEATHER's days of fighting TWICE a year are done. Mainly for TAX REASONs and NEW YORK has one of the HIGHEST tax rates for fighters and they're not just going to GIVE away that money.

Since COTTO can SELL MSG fighting even a CLUB fighter, Im suprised no one has mentioned

            K 9 Bundridge.

He's available, he's cheap (he'll gladly take a million considering he made $130K for his last fight), he has a belt and he CAN be outboxed. He also tires.

Winnable fight even with Manny Stewart in his corner and has hardware to go with it.

When are people going to realize that Canelo fought in March, June, September, and November last year????

If the right money is offered and if both sides want that fight, it could happen in December easily. Schaeafer already mentioned, back when Alvarez-Kirkland was suppose to be happening, that he envisions Canelo fighting Kirkland in September and than Cotto in New York City in December.

It can happen, we'll have to wait and see.

Definitely possible, but Alvarez didn't fight in a fight nearly as big as Cotto-Canelo will be. Takes alot of time to get the promotion and all gears going on fights that big. Press tours usually happen about 2-3 months before the fight, when Canelo will be fighting Lopez. Crazier things have happened though.

Everyone is giving him a hard time for fight Njikam, a lower top 10 MW, but Guerrero fights Aydin, a lower top 10 WW, and gets praised for showing guts and heart.
