yeah but rewind, why does floyd think he was on peds in the first place?

I suppose he had his personal reasons. There was a few that had their concerns. Again, I didn't personally.

Did Mayweather some how know that Pacquaio would refuse to take the testing procedure?

my opinion on the testing is very simple. yes its a good thing, but it isnt mandatory and until the day it is, any fighter has the right to turn it down. there was an interview with lennox lewis about this issue back in 09 and he put it the way i seen it at the time. he was saying that pacquiao was thinking, who is this guy to tell me what to do? at the same time accusing pacquiao of being on drugs. These are the rules, do you want to fight?

the reson i say 50/50 is fair is this. they are the 2 best fighters in the sport. they both sell similar numbers on ppv. they will both recieve their highest ever paydays. so whats the problem? and to be quite honest, i dont really care who gets what, i just want to see the fcukin fight!
60/40 i'll kick yo ass. maybe not his sig but in his avi.

reading this, you can't possibly honestly believe manny will sign for a fight with fair terms because its clear he doesn't want fair terms FROM FLOYD, he WANTS TO DICTATE THE TERMS TO FLOYD, as he always does since he is always the larger draw, except in this fight. This is why I ask you to judge manny's decisions based on his ego the same you do floyd.

the problem is simple IMO. Just like floyd had to put his ego aside during negotiations with ODH, manny should do the same here. Once the fight is signed, go at floyd hard.

manny is the opponent and, as is the time honored tradition in the sport, will have to give a little to get the fight.

I assume because of the way he climbed different weight classes. He may just have been doing this to piss manny off. But it doesn't matter, they were both taking tests.

well of course mayweather didnt know if he would or wouldnt take the tests.

but personally, if that was me, i wouldnt have refused to fight if i didnt get the extra tests that i wanted, espescially if i believe im gonna beat this guy. "if it makes dollars it makes sense" used to be the saying!

                I would have.

If I suspect a guy of taking drugs, I'm not going to go ahead when the guy refuses to prove he's clean.

And that's the exact same thing Mayweather is referring to regarding "self preservation".

so you'd give the opponent everything he requested then when you request something, opponent tells you no, and you say ok and and fight him?

Dude thats as silly as the notion that you are not a big fan of manny or floyd but they are your 3rd and 4th fav fightersd.

iv told you this before, the floyd vs de la hoya is a terrible comparison. floyd wasnt anywhere near the level of de la hoya in terms of sales.

pacquiao isnt the opponent, nor is floyd. pacquiao is the number 1 ranked welterweight. id be more than happy if pacquiao gave a little to make the fight.

floyd went through the weight classes aswell, but i didnt hear pacquiao insinuating that floyd is on peds
