I almost feel like BS put all of their eggs in one basket. Traffic has slowed since Pacquiao's cape began falling off.

        1) He didn't lose to Castillo, contrary to popular belief amongst the people going through his career with a fine tooth comb the fight could have gone either way.

        2) He rematched Castillo straight away and beat him decisively.

        3) He was moving up in weight.

        4) He was not number 1 p4p at the time. I think he was ranked 8.

Yeah I see the difference. Pacquiao has a huge fan base and STILL the vast majority of the boxing public thought he got his butt handed to him by Marquez. Bradley has no fanbase whatsoever so of course people are going to think Manny won.

The point is Pacquiao has an official loss and a loss in the court of public opinion, so it's odd to claim that he' still the p4p best fighter in the world.

there you go full of fail
Can you elaborate the other 8 fights? Remember Floyd has only 4 fights since he faked his retirement vs Pacquiao 12 fights since when Floyd faked his retirement to duck young prime, Cotto, Mosley and Margarito.

If the retirement was fake, as you say, then that means floyd should never have lost his spot atop the p4p rankings because he never really retired right? Inactivity is not a rreason to lose your spot.

On the other hand, if it was real, he came back and fought the #2 p4p fighter, JMM, and beat him more decisively than Manny had. I think any fighter that returns from retirement and beats the 2nd best fighter in the world earns the right to be #1.

SInce floyd has been atop the p4p rankings, manny has lost twice, once questionably, had a draw , and got what many say is a gift decision vs JMM.

That is a strong argument for floyd being #1.

He then goes on to officially lose to Bradley but that doesn't matter either because he won in the court of public opinion?

The same standard should be held for the Marquez fight as it was held for the Bradley fight. Floyd just beat two champions while Pacquiao has struggled with guys who fight below his weight class. Yet somehow Pac is p4p number one?
