About the same to me. Both are surface deep.

You give the edge to Pac when he was outboxed by JMM who was shut out by Floyd?

And the Ortiz win at WW is better than Bradley because Ortiz actually won a title at that weight from a top 3 guy before facing Floyd.
i'm willing to make that tiny little intuitive leap. you would not risk everything to load your gloves for the first time against shane mosley if you were clean leading up to that fight. it makes no sense.

read the post twice if you dont get it in the first go. the wins are better for pacquiao in my opinion. you rate the ortiz win highly? i do not. i saw his last fight. he's not as good as tim bradley. neither are some stellar win. bradley's not getting his jaw broken by jose lopez.

i am not comparing the two head to head. i've said up and down that pacquiao would never win a fight against floyd mayweather.

the resumes are very similar. they aren't good.

they both suck at WW if you want to compare them to any historic WW of repute

and finally, if you really want to rate a resume, you wait until a fighter has retired and the careers of the guys over which he got wins or against whom he came up short have concluded

if they were at 147 it would change things completely.

the fact remains that there's very little between these two resumes and that they're both pretty damn weak at WW. the strength of their resume are as weight climbers. manny was a flyweight champion and floyd was one of the best 130 lbers we've ever seen

manny has victories at or around FW over hall of famers in morales, barerra, and marquez.

their work at WW is just not great.

I laugh at these type of threads where TS makes a poll as a shroud, and shuts down people with legit arguments as to why they think the other's better, when TS obviously has an agenda to nuthug his own, and people will wonder what was the real purpose of this thread.

TS, just say you love Floyd and he's better than Manny will you

Floyd easily. Floyd fought the names when they were relevant and on top. Pacquiao fought the names when they were on their way down, coming from a loss, or from a different weight class and even today continues to refuse fighting Cotto without a CW. Pac refused fighting Mosley when Mosley was on top even with a CW, made Marquez move up when it wasn't necassry and got out boxed anyway, made Bradley move up and ended up getting beat. Floyd clearly better resume.

Self projection oozing in your post. I wonder if you would have made these same comments if the TS was a Pacfan.

Because he'll get a woody if Floyd gets more votes.
