oh shut up already.... margo wasnt even suspended 2 yrs for using ****ing plaster of paris... go chill out man

The guys that made weight is a duck. While the guy that FAILED IT TWICE, knowing the consequences, is what?

I love how y'all blame the fighter that made the effort to come in at weight and ready to fight. I'm sure if you signed a contract, to a house, to a care or to a fight.. whatever it may be.. and come time they didn't deliver on the contract, you would be upset. now not only did he not deliver on the contract, but he didn't deliver on the second agreement set up to fix the initial mistake. I wouldn't go through with it either, out of principle.. not to mention that besides skill, weight is one of the biggest advantages you could have in boxing! otherwise, there wouldn't be weight classes.

So Broner fails to make weight not once but twice, and somehow it's Escobedo's fault the fight isn't happening? You people are reaching. Let me make it real simple here:

You make weight, the fight happens.

You don't make weight, it's your own damn fault you lost your chance at the spotlight. no one elses.

If it would of been Escobedo that didn't make weight and Broner who did.. they'd be blaming Escobedo, calling him a coward for not making weight twice and praising Broner for not taking the fight.

These dudes aren't fans of the sport.. they're **** riders of a man. Why even pay them any attention?

I hope Broner bounces back from this, but there is nothing other than his lack of professionalism to blame for this fight not happening.
If the guy really wanted to fight, he would've tried to make weight.. the first time, not even trying the second time shows he really didn't care and didn't want it.

but at the end of the day, broner bought this embarassment on himself. i told everyone he wasnt gonna make 143. its was physically impossible. he had no fat on his body whatsoever and he was already 133.5. he is simply not a super featherweight. either way, i hope he learned his lesson and it was a hard lesson to learn. but he needed to learn it.
