I like this theory, but at the same time he gives Miguel Cotto no respect either. You know Cotto is the one with the fight anyone warrior reputation. Floyd is inaccurately perceived as a ducker by many.

It's the truth. Up until it became clear Pacquiao wouldn't fight him, Sergio had plenty of nice things to say about Pacquiao. If Floyd ever came out and said "No way, no how, I am never fighting Sergio Martinez," then Sergio would talk crap about him too.

I just saw we posted the same thing... but yea... Sergio was talking about how he respected Pacquiao and how Pacquiao was a top P4P fighter and he'd fight at 150. When they said no, he started flaming them. Mayweather has been saying it's possible... and if they don't fight, expect him to flame Mayweather.

All these comments are relevant to the real answer. Sergio has made it publicly known he wants to be the no1 fighter one day. He knows people dont see him as it yet, and he knows a fight with FLoyd is a possiblity, voila, Sergio thinks if he beats FLoyd, he will then become no1.
Thats why he is going OTT in that he thinks FLoyd is no1 even though he knows Pac is. Its all mind games with Sergio he is a clever man who knows what he wants and the route he needs to get it.

2.) he's scurred of floyd...so he acts like it's respect, lol.

3.) he wants to be just like floyd...so he compliments him, simultaneously hoping to attract his fans. Which is only kind of working - these "fans" say they like Sergio, but these cheap ****ers won't even pay for his upcoming ppv just because Top Rank is involved...they don't care...jerks

4.) he actually only says "**** Floyd" in Spanish, the translator's lying

5.) He idolizes Argentinian **********s...if they can ride **** for a payday, why can't he?
