Why Does Martinez Show Floyd So Much Respect?

Sergio publicly shows Floyd respect as he knows he can one day fight Floyd and if he beats Floyd, Sergio will become no1, being seen as no1 is what drives Sergio.
Thats why he is lying about how good he thinks floyd is. Sergio has said before he thinks Pac is the best when his guard was down, that is where the reality lies.

sergio has all areas covered with lies. The reason for saying Pac is no5, is cos he is scared if he beats Floyd, people will still not see him as no1 and that he will be no 2 behind Pac and he knows that will be very likely.

So hes playing those mind games once again. He wants to make it a reality he will be no1 if he beats FLoyd and not no2 ahed of floyd, but behind Pac.

Well if you followed most of his interviews, he was challenging Pac out of principle...since..you know.. Pac fought for Marrinez's title without fighting Martinez. But remember he also admitted that realistically, he's a little too big for Pac. Cotto on the other hand has supposedly ducked him. Pac's was only a duck in principle if you really dot like Pac and consider it that. Pre Pac, you could say Bradley was even less known than Serg.. Name thing makes no sense. Martinez has always said his goal is number one and has always been clear on who he thought was that, even before he challenged Floyd and they had supposed "talks" for potential future clash.

Also take into account the things Pac's team have said about Martinez and his difficulty with Arum who finally admitted he was afraid if Serg. Do you think it also applied to Pac?

Anyway, whens the last time you heard someone not respect Floyds fight game? Even Bradley thought Floyd was better in the leadup to the pac fight. :|...

He respects real fighters, with real skills, who get in the ring with real opponents and does real things..Martinez sees Pac the same way, die hard fans see Pac...as a more legitamate version of Butterbean...everytime pac fights, its always something bizzaree going on, lie he's a freakshow...pac will be holding up the fight, watching the ball game, shooting pull in between rounds, someone will get robbed, or he will fight an opponent who has a huge asterisk...EVERY SINGLE TIME Pac fights, there is either an asterisk, or something bizzare will happen on fightnight..CONSISTANTLY, throughout his whole career basically...people see him as a clown, and whereever he goes its a clownshow, and we all will be talking about it online the next day...Martinez really respects Floyd., cuz Floyd is simply a good fighter, fighting good fighters, and giving is classic, typical ppv events...when pac fights, its not a typical ppv event, its a freakshow at the MGM...and pac comes in with all this guild, lights flashing, cheerleaders, then someone gets robbed, or something bizzare happens, and it happens consistantly...No one respects Pac when they grow to understand him

Quit trying to convince urself...You dont think it has anything to do with pac fighting bums, and getting beat twice in a row? Sergio has been criticizing pac for years, for being a bad fighter, who fights cherrypicked bums..he dont even respect pac as a real fighter, and he, just like all of us, is fascinated by Mayweather's boxing skills...anyone who likes Boxing, knows that Floyd is a special breed, Martinez is just a fan of the sport, and any true fan will treat each fighter the way he does..dont lie to yaself and make up crazy stories
